McIntosh Dining Chairs, Scotland 1960s

Beautifully crafted and highly collectable set of 6 Mid-Century teak dining chairs designed by Tom Robertson for McIntosh, Scotland, 1960s. The set includes four dining chairs and two matching carver chairs with elegant tapered legs inspired by Scandinavian design 

A.H. McIntosh & Co. was one of the most respected British furniture manufacturers of the Mid-Century era. Founded in Kirkcaldy, Scotland in 1869 by Alexander Henry McIntosh, the company became internationally renowned during the 1950s–1970s for its beautifully crafted teak furniture and Scandinavian inspired designs

Condition 

Each chair gets fully restored. The wood has been stripped, sanded and resealed. The joints have been stabilised and the seats have been reupholstered in high quality fabric with new high density foam
