Frystark Dining Chairs

Set of 7 highly collectable Mid-Century Kiaat dining chairs by Frystark, produced in the 1960’s as part of their premium ‘Status’ range. Pieces from the Status range typically feature clean, sculptural frames inspired by Danish modernism 

These chairs were designed  in the style of Arne Hovmand-Olsen  when South African manufacturers were responding to the global demand for Scandinavian style furniture

Condition 

Each chair gets fully restored. The wood has been stripped, sanded and resealed. The joints have been stabilised and the seats have been reupholstered in high quality fabric with new high density foam
